the apple of my eye
I found a treasure at Vinnies today. A real treasure! Perhaps the very beginning of my kitchen collection. In all my excitement I made an apple and cinnamon cake. I ate a wee piece for my dinner and it was lovely. I can't wait for a husband and babies and a kitchen and days to bake and stories to write. Oh glory!

I often find great treasures at Vinnies too. Great minds think alike, I baked an apple cinnamon cake yesterday for our afternoon tea, however I didn't have such a lovely cake tin to bake it in.
